Director of HR
Jane Yaeger, SPHR, SHRM-SCP
Biography:
The goal with HR is to solve the problem with a workable solution for everyone involved. I love the range of areas we explore from talent acquisition to mergers & acquisitions, to policies and processes. There are so many opportunities to help partners and it is very rewarding to be someone they can come to for the right guidance, assistance/action!
As a kid, I could easily collaborate with different individuals and groups to achieve common goals and I was the one that everyone relied upon. Having been an HR leader for several decades I have a rich history of experiences to draw from. At the same time, I enjoy keeping two (2) HR certifications current which is vital in this ever-changing world. When I’m not working, I’m traveling, watching sports, cooking and hanging out with family and friends. Have you ever been to a rodeo? I’ve been to several. You at least need to go to Cowtown Rodeo in South Jersey!
Favorite junk food: Ice cream that is LOADED – nuts, peanut butter and chocolate morsels, bananas, crushed pretzels, with hot fudge and peanut butter sauce – mmm, mmm, good!
Little know trivia fact about me: I fostered guinea pigs for years.
Best vacation ever: A hard toss up between South Africa and Japan.
Known around the office as: The go-to person.
My celebrity encounter: Herschel Walker and I talked for more than an hour. Do you know where he keeps his Heisman Trophy? I asked!
Personal credo: Just do it – don’t wait to be told what to do.
Enthusiast: Roller Coasters! Best roller coaster park – Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. Being in the sun so much between rides, I’m a Suntan lotion enthusiast too.
My personal heroes: My daughter who lived through a great deal and is determined to not let anything get her down and my parents who didn’t have two nickels to rub together yet they always provided for us.
Graduated: Rider University
